Kurt is an accomplished talent executive with a passion for bringing out the best in individuals, teams and organizations. Using a process that includes personal reflection and stakeholder input, he helps his clients understand their unique value proposition, and bring their “next gear” when it matters most. Kurt believes everyone owns their own story and specializes in helping clients write their next chapter.
Kurt’s thirty-plus year career in Financial Services includes more than twenty-five years as a Human Resources and Talent professional. In addition to serving as the HR Leader for a variety of business units, he has held Corporate roles that include Succession Planning, Performance Management, Learning & Leadership Development and Executive Coaching. Prior to his HR roles, Kurt had line business experience in Underwriting, Planning & Analysis and Financial Reporting.
Most recently, Kurt served as Vice President, Talent Management at Prudential Financial where he was responsible for developing and implementing learning and career development strategies and to help employees excel personally and professionally, while building organizational competencies to support Prudential’s business strategies. Known as a thought leader in the career development space, Kurt impacted hundreds of employees through his signature “Elevate Your Career” program.
Kurt earned a B.S. in Business Administration from The University of Delaware and an M.A. in Organizational Psychology from Columbia University. He has been certified in the Marshall Goldsmith Stakeholder Centered Coaching® approach, as well as The Marcus Buckingham Company’s StandOut In Practice® program, The Meyers-Briggs Type Indicator® (MBTI), PDI PROFILOR® and CCL Benchmarks®.
